Heygarth’s Wraparound Care

Our two provisions at Heygarth explained

Provision 1

At Heygarth we are a pilot early adopter school for the DfE funded Breakfast Club programme. This started in April 2025 and we are in a “test and learn” phase. The club is currently open to targeted pupils by invitation, and years 1 and 2. We will continue to roll out provision across the school as the project develops.

The club starts at 8:15am and runs until 8:45am, when the children are escorted to their classes. A nutritious breakfast is offered as part of this provision. The club is staffed by a team of our existing Teaching Assistants, so the children will see familiar faces and have the option to take part in learning activities and fun with their peers.

For children attending this provision, their parents should drop them off and hand over their child to our staff at the main school entrance.

If you need provision before 8:15am you will need to make use of our ‘Tree House’ club - details below.
