Welcome to Heygarth Primary School

We are a happy, friendly school and welcome visitors, so if you would like to look around, please feel free to pop in or make an appointment through our school office.

As we feel that all members of our school community should work together as learners, helping each other to achieve and grow, living in harmony with those around us.

As a Rights Respecting School, we place great emphasis on personal and social development and aim to nurture our children on their journey, so they can grow into safe, caring, democratic, responsible and understanding adults who make a positive contribution to our society and beyond.

As an inclusive school, we champion being unique and respecting differences. Every child is supported to meet their individual potential and is nurtured through the school's trauma-informed approaches and high aspirations for all.

If there is anything specific that you would like to know about or would like us to include on our website, please contact us via the school office or through the 'Contact' section of our website so that we can improve the page.
