Active Travel

At Heygarth Primary School we are committed to encouraging healthier, safer and more sustainable ways of travelling to and from school. We have a commitment to promoting walking, cycling, wheeling (scooters, wheelchairs), park & stride and the use of public transport.

Our goal is to create a safer environment around the school gates, improve the physical and mental well-being of our pupils and actively reduce local air pollution.
